11/1/2017 0 Comments November 1st, 2017This week was one of the craziest weeks of my whole entire mission. Wattles and I were not that satisfied with how the last week went when it comes to finding investigators and teaching, so we decided to go all out and try new things to get some new people in our teaching pool. I know that God helped us. We saw some miracles for sure.
My favorite thing that happened was with Ema. The situation of Ema is a bit complicated. She is the mother of a contact that we did. We originally wanted to teach her son, but when we came back for the second appointment, her son had moved to the south of Chile to do a drug rehablitation program. We told Emma a bit about what we did in the door to her house, and she said that she felt like what we had to say was important and that we could come back to tell her more. We came back, went into her house, and started teaching her about God´s plan for her and her family. We testified to her about how living the gospel could help her family be more united and happy, and she started crying. We asked her what was wrong, and she expressed her love and concern for her child and his well being. I love how the gospel makes people worried for the good being of the people they love. I know that the gospel makes the family more united. I know that if we try our best to follow the teachings of Jesus that we will feel more united as a family. I love you guys a bunch! Keep safe this week! Elder Scott
