1/25/2017 0 Comments Un dicho que me da inspiracionThey use some funny figures of speech in Chile. This is one I actually heard someone say the other day. Gotta love Chile right? ¨Mas fe que una guatóna en una clase de Zumba¨ = ¨more faith then a fat woman in Zumba class¨ This week was special for me because I had the chance to do a baptismal interview with a man named Alexis. I was worried that I would mess up and it would go horrible, but it was actually an amazing experience. I know for sure that Heavenly Father helped me. I spoke Spanish really well and went over all the questions and felt the Spirit really strong. I wasn´t able to take a picture with him, but he got baptized this past Saturday! It makes me happy that I got to be part of helping him get there. Happy Moments this week: I completed seven months in the mission and Elder Marcum and I made cheese sandwiches to celebrate. Today we went to a birthday party with one of the Hermanas from my group, and we had cake and empanadas. it was super fun. I have been reading the Old Testament in Spanish and finding incredible parables to share with our investigators. This week I have been thinking a lot about comparing ourselves to others. It is something that everyone does so much that it becomes natural sometimes. It is not good and can bring you down and hurt your self esteem. It is really important to always think good about yourself even if others are beating you up or you feel like nothing is going your way. If you can’t even think positive about yourself, then who will? Everyone is special and has things that make us unique that God has given us to help other people be happy! We should ALWAYS be looking for ways to spread our talents to make help others. This week was amazing. Love you all! Elder Scott
